The Royal Hotel opened in 1960 and was quickly christened "Landmark of the Jet Age". The architect - Arne Jacobsen - designed everything from the strong lines of the building to the smallest details, including furniture, fittings, and textiles. ACCOMMODATION
The interior architect and designer Yasmine Mahmoudieh tastefully decorated the hotel’s 257 rooms and three suites.
Most rooms offer a fantastic view over Copenhagen and all are equipped with everything one would expect when staying at an international five star hotel.
The Royal Club rooms assure a fantastic view of the city.
The famous Room 606 has been maintained in the original décor. It is decorated in the original gray and green-blue colors and functions as an ordinary hotel room.
Several of the rooms are reserved for non-smokers.
FACILITIES
Grab & Run - Hot coffee and tea are available at a special table in the lobby to drink on the spot or to take away in Styrofoam cups. There are also freshly baked croissants.
3 Hour Express Laundry - guarantees clean garments within three hours - if delivery is made before 8 pm. Minor repairs such as replacing missing buttons etc. are also part of the service.
Late Check-Out - keep your room until 3pm on the day of departure – all you have to do is to inform the reception.
DINING
At Alberto K, select Scandinavian ingredients are combined with the best from the new Italian kitchen. The restaurant is situated on the 20th floor and offers a rare experience for both lunch and dinner in a setting of outstanding Danish design and with the best view in the city.
For informal dining throughout the day, Café Royal is the ideal choice. The à la carte menu includes a wide selection of light snacks, sandwiches and delicious meals. In Café Royal guests find a relaxed atmosphere in original settings designed by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Café Royal is located on the ground floor, and the bustling, everyday life of Copenhagen can be watched through its panorama windows. Lean back and enjoy the view.
The Royal Bar buzzes with cosmopolitan atmosphere and is an obvious place to meet for a drink - either before dinner or to end a delightful evening.
MEETING FACILITIES
Radisson SAS Royal Hotel conference facilities offer a world of possibilities - from spacious conference halls capable of accommodating up to 300 participants to small rooms for group meetings.
All conference rooms are equipped with High Speed Internet Access. An IT center is available for various IT related arrangements. The centre has 63 IT workstations with the latest and most advanced software installed. There are also Smart Boards, which the conference chairman or course instructor can use as a natural extension of their own workstation screen and competent IT technicians are, of course, always ready to help.
