LOCATION
The hotel was built in 1913, allegedly at the instigation of King Frederik VIII. The Copenhagen Plaza is in the heart of Copenhagen and looks out at Tivoli itself, right opposite the Central Station with all its local and domestic connections and just 12 minutes from the airport. Denmark's King Frederik VIII commissioned the Plaza to be built in 1913 and since then the hotel has been the home away from home for many visitors to Copenhagen. The Copenhagen Plaza has 93 rooms, most of which are different. The rooms are luxuriously and tastefully fitted out, taking into consideration each room's architecture and original interior. All modern conveniences are provided, including high-speed Internet connection. 2 floors are reserved for non-smokers. TV is on a pay per view basis.
