LOCATION
A beautiful hotel, full of tradition, situated right in the heart of Copenhagen by The Town Hall Square and The Tivoli Gardens. Although Hotel Alexandra is a modern hotel, you may still experience the old "Copenhagen Ambience" due to a considerate restoration. In this historic building you will find 61 charming rooms with all the modern facilities as well as elegant and classic Danish furniture. Furthermore, Hotel Alexandra has gained The Green Key. This is an environmental certificate awarded to hotels that pay special attention to the environment and to the health. For one thing a non-smoking and allergy friendly floor has been establised in the hotel.
ACCOMMODATION
Hotel Alexandra has 61 charming rooms and Superior rooms. Each room has been uniquely decorated, but always with one or more Danish furniture classics and Danish art. All of the rooms have trouser press,
pay-TV, footbath, well-equipped bathrooms with hairdryers, etc. We also offer dry cleaning and laundry services, and our room service is available when you want to pamper yourself in your room. We also have allergy-friendly and nonsmoking rooms for guests preferring this type of accomodation. Guests can look
forward to enjoying their breakfast in the hotel’s own restaurant, Brasserie Mühlhausen, where we – besides the abundant Danish breakfast buffet – also serve delicious homemade specialities.
FACILITIES
Hotel Alexandra is classified with 3 stars and has been certificated as a "Green Key" hotel.
The hotel has its own lunch and dinner restaurant where the breakfast also is served. All rooms are equipped with televisions with Pay-TV, these movies can be watched all day. Brasserie Mühlhausen provides room service to all rooms, both beverages and food.
DINING
In 2001, the hotel's new restaurant opened with a flood of good reviews from the city's toughest food critics - and our high level of quality continues. Brasserie Mühlhausen is a café, bar and brasserie created in the genuine brasserie tradition and spirit to serve the soul and senses of our guests in a relaxed atmosphere.
With genuine respect for and love of the southern European culinary tradition, we have crossed cultural borders to compose a menu reflecting history and new discoveries, while maintaining good regional traditions of southern Europe. We call the brasserie's kitchen "the young southern European kitchen".
The brasserie is decorated with modern Danish furniture classics designed by Børge Mogensen and Kaare Klint, among others. Even the Akademi-chandeliers were created by the Danish master of lighting, PH (Poul Henningsen).
MEETING FACILITIES
Hotel Alexandra offers alternative settings for your
meeting in a professional and modern environment.
We arrange individual meetings in our newly renovated meeting rooms furnished with Danish design.
We are situated in the heart of Copenhagen. 2 minutes from the Town Hall Square, 10 minutes walking distance to the Central Station and a 20 minutes drive from the Airport.
The meeting rooms have a capacity between 2-41 persons and following audiovisual-equipment is standard: Overhead, flip- over and whiteboard. It is of course possible to order additional equipment if necessary.
If you should feel like it, it is also possible to arrange a well-prepared dinner, inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine.
